Dr. André Dallaire

Veterinary Pathologist

André D. Dallaire completed his DVM degree in 1988 at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire, Université de Montréal, in Saint-Hyacinthe (Québec).

After working for 3 1/2 years as a practitioner in a small animal clinic, he then went back to graduate studies and undertook a MSc program in ecotoxicology studying the renal morphological effects of chronic methylmercury exposure on a fish eating mammal.

After this graduate program, André went on to the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown (PEI) where he completed a residency program in morphologic pathology at the end of 1999.

He then obtained his Board Certification from the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) in 2002 and has been working since the end of 1999 as a diagnostic pathologist at the CCWHC - Quebec Regional Center. His interests include infectious diseases in wild animals, zoonotic diseases, ultrastructural pathology, exotic/zoo animal pathology and fish/aquatic animal diseases.
